Financial Management for Solar Enterprises

This course focuses on helping solar entrepreneurs and business owners understand and manage their finances. It involves creating, understanding, and managing the basic financial statements such as the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cashflows. This course also helps business owners further understand the different financial activities they need in operating a solar enterprise.

The class covers basic computations on savings and ROI for solar PV systems, the different fixed and variable costs involved for each type of project and how certain variables and factors may affect certain financial aspects of a project. This course will teach you how to:

• Understand the different finance computations involved in a solar project
• Setup your own financial model templates for your businesses

This course is part of the Solar Technical and Business Expert training pathway. Before you enroll in this course, you should complete the Solar Business Models course. There is no fee to enroll in this course.
