OpenSolar Advanced Design

This course provides a deep dive into the studio zone of OpenSolar to show how you can leverage the tool to get the best designs possible. It includes a 20 minute video and short multiple-choice quiz.

The course gives three different design examples: standard residential, rural (no imagery available), and large-scale commercial. In each of these, it provides you with the tips and tricks necessary for carrying out these types of designs.

Upon course completion, you should be able to create more complicated designs on OpenSolar, for example when no imagery is available and designing large commercial systems.

This course is part of the Solar Technical and Business Expert training pathway. There are no prerequisites courses.

There is no fee to enrol in this course. Access will expire 1 year after enrolment.
